Partner news from Kyrgyzstan: HECAFS project in active phase

Currently, at the department of “Commodity, commodity examination and restaurant business” of the Institute of Trade and Restaurant Business KEU named after M. Ryskulbekov, the project has moved to its active phase. Kyrgyz students got an excellent opportunity to learn from European professors. Colleagues from Europe and Kyrgyzstan during a period modernized curricula (syllabuses) and modules of food systems and standards in the frame of the HECAFS project.

Mrs. Ruta Galoburda, Doctor of Engineering Sciences of the Latvian University of Life Sciences and Technologies recently completed the first week of the training of students of the profiles “Commodity and examination of goods” and “Restaurant business and service”. She read several lectures, held seminars for students of the institute. Also, Professor Ruta demonstrated a high level of master class on the topic “Modern methods of increasing the shelf life of products” for teachers of the department and the College of Economics and Service and organized a very interesting discussion.
