International joint workshop of the European Union Project Erasmus + HECAFS

From June 1st to 5th this year, on the basis of the “Barchyn” wellness center (Sary-Oy, Issyk-Kul region) an international joint workshop was held on the results of the project of the European Union Erasmus + HECAFS “Higher education for food production systems and standards in Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan” in 2017 / 2018 school year.

As the executor of this project, eight lecturers and professor staff from the “Commodity science, commodity examination and restaurant business” department of the KEU participated in the seminar.

The instructional guidance documents from the project coordinator Irina Kulitane and the content coordinator Anda Waldovska on the elaborating of the final versions of curricular and syllabuses, harmonized within the framework of the project with the same educational documents of the partner universities of Latvia, Poland and Lithuania were presented at the seminar.

During the practical part of the workshop the details of the training documentation on the profiles “Commodity Science and Commodity Expertise”, “Restaurant business and service” were discussed, after which their final working versions were developed, accordingly on March-April 2019 the teachers of the above-mentioned European countries will conduct classes with students of the KEU.
