Beginning of pilot training sessions in Kyrgyzstan

In the framework of the implementation of the next stage of  HECAFS project, a training session  in  Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I.Razzakov has begun. Education sessions are held by Ms. Ruta Galoburda and Ms. Anita Blia, colleagues from the Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies, which conduct their first classes with university students.

In the initial phase of the project realization, the departmental faculty and staff members, together with European colleagues from the Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies, the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences and the Warsaw University of Natural Sciences, developed training modules, taking into account the latest achievements of science and technology, as well as introduction to training programs.

European teachers will conduct pilot training for students of the 740100 “Food technology and production of food from vegetable raw materials”, from March to April 2019.

The following subjects are planned for the undergraduate program: “Canning technology”, “Special microbiology”, “Food safety management system”, “Food safety and raw materials safety”, for master’s degree students  – “Analysis, and Quality and safety of foodstuffs», “Food epidemiology” , “Quality management system”, “Technology for obtaining products with different shelf life”, “Food safety systems”, “Methods of identification and Adulteration of food products.
